Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival 2015 -

The paintings that Beatriz creates reflect her control of artistic surfaces that result from the arrangement of the elements in a bold and harmonious composition. The chromatic pieces appear as if they were part of a beautiful musical symphony thanks to an artistic approach that resembles and simulates the charm of music. In their abstract and visual simulation of each other, the shapes appear like successive echoes that mix between the abstract practice and surrealism. In their pure abstract style, those paintings give children a good chance to become familiar with the various artistic styles. Moreover, they show just how smart the artist’s approach to controlling the contrasting spaces (chromatic and white). Her paintings are rich in their artistic language and are capable of expressing a poetic text selected from the Uruguayan culture.”
